And just like that we are wrapping up 2022 and making plans for 2023 while still wondering what happened to 2021.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at one of our Regional Hot Desks across WA. Having one-on-one meetings with you close to your home has been fantastic without a screen between us. Next year we have added a few extra dates and locations to expand this offering.

The office will be closed between 23 December 2022 and 3 January 2023.

We will reopen on 4 January 2023.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a prosperous harvest, happy holidays and we look forward to seeing you in the New Year.

WITH WA End of Year Celebration

In November we attended the Women in Tourism & Hospitality (WITH WA) end of year celebrations at Odyssey in City Beach.

Bailiwick Legal is the proud Foundation Sponsor for WITH WA assisting with their Incorporation and serving on the Board since then. We have also been involved in establishing the WITH WA Mentor Circle Program which will be running its inaugural program in 2023.

We announced the winner of the WITH WA Mentor Circle Bailiwick Legal Scholarship. Maddi Ross from Australia’s Golden Outback will be joining 30 other Mentees over 6 months to be Mentored by 8 outstanding female leaders in the Hospitality & Tourism Industry. We wish to congratulate Maddi on her Scholarship win and look forward to seeing what she achieves through the program.

WA Tourism Awards 2022

We were honoured to attend the 50th WA Tourism Awards Gala Dinner on 5th November and sponsor the Wineries, Distilleries and Breweries award category.

A massive congratulations to Kate Sinfield from Sin Gin for taking home the much deserved Gold!

At this their 50^th Awards event Tourism Council WA did a wonderful job bringing together the WA tourism industry for a really memorial night.

We celebrated #AgDayAU 2022 by sharing what we love about Agriculture.

Northam Women in Business

On 19 October, Danielle attended Northam Women in Business’ annual general meeting as a guest speaker to discuss her career and diversity within the legal profession.

The event was hosted by Windward Ballooning and incorporated a lovely dinner prepared by Lucy's Tearooms and networking among members. It was great to support fellow women in business.

Harvest is a busy time for farmers and their workers. The lead up to harvest comes quickly and the essentials of recruitment and compliance can often be overlooked. However, it is important that you get appropriate contractual arrangements in place early and that you cover workers’ lawful entitlements to avoid future disputes

It has been a busy but a great year for us at Bailiwick Legal and we want to thank everyone who has been a part of it. We will be taking a break over the Christmas and New Year period to refresh and ready ourselves for a big year ahead!

We will be closed on and from 23 December 2022 and be back on 4 January 2023.
